Rhythm ID and Dance Combos

Service Description

In this series we will explore and practice rhythms most commonly used in Arabic musical compositions. We will begin with rhythm study and practice and briefly discuss history, musical and regional context. We will also practice dance movements and combos common to each rhythm musically and regionally. Bring your drum, or use your belly as a drum. There are a couple of loaner drums at the studio to borrow as well. Drop in or use your dance pass!
