1:30-3:00pm: Intermediate-advanced choreography "Afat Joonam" is set to a 1960s song called “Shod Shod, Nashod Nashod” by the Iranian singer Afat. This contemporary choreography is flowing, expressive, and precise. We’ll learn about the rich history of the Iranian musical style called Roohozi (meaning “on top of the pool”) or Koocheh Bazaari (meaning “streets of the bazaar”). $35
