Sunday April 12 12-3pm Contemporary fusion belly dance choreography $75 adv by March 31st, $80 after This workshop centers on a new choreography that blends the sharp, isolated movements of belly dance with the fluidity and expressiveness of contemporary dance. We’ll begin with a warm-up focused on breath-initiated movement and strength-building techniques to generate heat and circulation. Throughout class, dancers will explore concepts designed to help them access their unique artistic individuality within the choreography. Expect moments of improvisation, guided exploration, and opportunities to dive into expression, musical interpretation, and textural nuance. Dance shoes are recommended but not required.
