In this series we go over not only skills for polished and professionalism on the stage but also the before and after we hit the stage. There is a lot that goes on before and after the stage act, we will cover a few key points from putting together a show, context of performance, costuming and makeup, preparation, and a little about the admin of being a working artist. Janelle has been a working artist since the late 1990s and has through the years learned from her journey, not all shows are the same! We will also create project performances that can be put to the stage! There will be light homework as well as an optional performance opportunity at the late summer Desert Dream Cabaret showcase. Once registered Janelle will email the participant with "things to bring to class", definitely bring a notebook or journal. $100 adv payment by June 15, $125 after June 15
