Service Description

Celena has had the honor of performing John Compton’s “Cymbal Dance” with him and his troupe Hahbi’Ru at the Renaissance Fair. Now she is honored to share this beautiful, challenging choreography with anyone who is interested in learning it. You will learn many steps with many cymbal patterns. Celena is looking forward to teaching the "Cymbal Dance" to you! About the instructor: Celena has studied, taught and performed different styles of Middle Eastern dance over the years but her roots are in the Folkloric style. Her classes are structured and focused on technique and choreography with emphasis on steps combined with finger cymbal patterns and musical interpretation. Celena's classes are fun and informative with the goal of providing the student with a better understanding of Middle Eastern music and dance and how to combine both in a creative, artistic manner.
